ELASTOSEAL™ MEMBRANE

ELASTOSEAL™ Adhesive Membrane is an asphalt-urethane based elastic mastic formed by on-site mixing of Parts A and B. It provides high chemical resistance to acids, alkalis and salt solutions.

Application Area

ELASTOSEAL™ Adhesive Membrane, used together with BOROSHIELD™ BLOCK, is designed with the composition and effects of flue gases emitted by coal-fired power plants in mind. Used as a bonding compound, the membrane also forms a chemically protective layer beneath the BOROSHIELD™ BLOCK layer. Together with BOROSHIELD™ BLOCK, it can be applied to concrete, brick, steel and FRP surfaces.

ELASTOSEAL™ Adhesive Membrane is also used to form horizontal and vertical joints between blocks. When applied over firebrick, it forms a lining layer with a different viscosity.

ANCHORPRIME™ EP

ANCHORPRIME™ EP Primer is a polyamide epoxy primer consisting of high-solids Part A and epoxy primer hardener Part B. Conventional spray application is recommended, although it may also be applied by brush or roller. The recommended dry film thickness is 40μm - 80μm.

primer1

Application Area

ANCHORPRIME™ EP Primer is applied to properly prepared steel surfaces (abrasive blasting and cleaning) before ELASTOSEAL™ Adhesive Membrane and BOROSHIELD™ BLOCK application to provide corrosion protection.

It can be applied to stainless steel, carbon steel and non-ferrous alloy surfaces forming stacks and flue gas ducts.

Benefits

Corrosion

Prevents rust formation on abrasive-blasted steel surfaces

Protection

Provides protection against external effects before lining application thanks to its wide application-thickness tolerance

Adhesion

Provides optimum surface adhesion before ELASTOSEAL™ Membrane and BOROSHIELD™ BLOCK application

Ease of Application

Easy application by conventional spray

Emissions
